Discount
- Senior and disability tickets are the same as for a child ticket. That is 50 % discount on an adult ticket price, rounded upwards.
- There is no Senior and disability discount on zone cards, period cards, or frequent traveller cards.
Who can get Senior and disability discount?
a) persons older than 67 years
b) persons with disability on a disability pension according to the law on disability
c) the blind
d) the deaf and blind
e) spouse of someone who travel together with a person who has the right to a Senior and disability discount according to the above criteria. Registered partners according to the Partnership law is given Senior and disability discount as spouses described above. f) persons travelling together with a person who can show an ID card from their municipality, confirming the person has the need for one or more helpers, travel for free. This applies to travels without car or as a passenger in a car. If the helper is the driver of the car, the helper is included in the price of the car that pays normal price.
Identification
Anyone claiming a Senior and disability discount must show a valid identity card. Valid identity cards for persons older that 67 years, are passport, drivers license, bank card, and the Postal services identity card.
Senior and disability discount for pensioners is reliant on their status according to the Social security act (folketrygdloven), and an identity card from to Social security office must be shown.
Helpers to the deaf blind, who is entitled to a Senior and disability discount, travel for free when they can show an identity card from the Governments central team of the deaf and blind.
