According to a press release from the Minister of Transport and Communications, the authorities will now introduce payment via the vehicle’s license plate, as an alternative to the AutoPASS chip. “Norled believes this is a sensible solution to avoid infection contact between our travelers and our crews. This will also make it easier for all travelers, as it will now be the same practice for ferry travel, as when paying at the toll stations along the roads otherwise.
However, Norled is awaiting instructions from our clients on how and when this will be implemented on the various ferry routes. The same applies to changes in ferry prices as a result of changes in the VAT rate, as well as price reductions on the national road ferries.
Norled does not set the prices in the connections we operate on behalf of our Clients.
