The award highlights Norled’s pioneering role in green maritime innovation that inspires others to adopt sustainable solutions in shipping. Each year, Agenda Vestlandet and Maritime CleanTech honor a forward-thinking green maritime company.
Cutting emissions through innovation
Norled is recognized for its pioneering achievements, including the world’s first all-electric car ferry (MF ‘Ampere’), electric express boats and the world’s first hydrogen-powered ferry (MF ‘Hydra). These developments underline their continuous pursuit of zero-emission solutions.
