Start-up of tourist routes postponed to June 24

The start of tourist routes will be moved to June 1. This is due to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and related volume losses.

The start of tourist routes will be moved to June 24. This is due to the outbreak of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and related volume losses.

The routes in question are:

Bergen-Flåm (Sogn og Fjordane)
Norheimsund-Eidfjord (Hardanger)

In addition, Preikestolcruiset starts on July 01 (Rogaland)

Otherwise, Bergen-Sogndal (winter route) will continue as normal until June 23, 2020.
The Nordfjord route will continue as normal.

Norled won the tender for the Stokkvågen-Lovund and Stokkvågen-Træna ferry routes after delivering a concept that cuts emissions by up to 90 percent. Three new battery-hybrid ferries will enter the service in 2027.
