Norled to operate the express boats between Bergen, Nordfjord, Sogn and Flom until 2024

Norled recently extended its contract with Skyss for the express boat routes for Bergen, Nordfjord, Sogn and Flom.

“We are very pleased to have secured two new years of operation of the express boat service on these routes. These are routes that Norled has operated since 2012 and we are proud to be able to operate together with Skyss. We look forward to welcoming passengers in the years ahead and to further cooperation with Skyss,” says express boat manager Bjørn Egil Søndenå.

The contract covers these routes:

  • Year-round route Nordfjord-Bergen-Nordfjord
  • Year-round route Bergen-Nordfjord-Bergen
  • Year-round route Sogn-Bergen-Sogn
  • Summer route Bergen-Flåm-Bergen (01 April to 31 October)

The contract starts on May 1, 2022 and runs until November 30, 2024, with an option for Skyss to extend the contract by up to 2 years.

Express boats in Oslo are being upgraded and made more environmentally friendly
