Hevrøy comes from the position of Director of Operations for ARO Drilling, before which he was head of Valaris’ operations in Norway. Frode is currently responsible for 2,000 employees, 18 rigs, a technical department and a project organization that includes class/upgrades and newbuilds.
Frode started his career at Smedvig where he worked in the technical department before being given responsibility for one of the floating rigs, followed by several different management positions in the Seadrill Group in Norway and internationally. Hevrøy has a degree in marine engineering and a master’s degree in industrial economics from the University of Stavanger.
