From January 1, 2023, Norled will operate the ferry services in Sandnessjøen.

This applies to the connection between Sandnessjøen, Dønna and Løkta as well as the connection between Søvik, Austbø, Herøy and Brasøy.

-“This is our first ferry contract in Nordland. It is very gratifying that we will now also be operating ferries in Nordland. We look forward to welcoming travelers on board and to the collaboration with Nordland County Council, says CEO of Norled, Heidi Wolden.

The contract starts on January 1, 2023 and lasts until January 31, 2026 with an option to extend the contract for another year. The services will be operated by four main ferries and one reserve vessel.
