Norled is set to continue operating the Finnøy link

On Monday, the Norwegian Public Roads Administration announced that, on behalf of Rogaland County Council, it has nominated Norled as the winner of the tender competition for ferry operations in the Finnøy link and intends to sign a contract with Norled AS.
  • We are very pleased that we have been given renewed confidence and are set to continue operating the Finnøysambandet service until 2029, and we will continue to deliver good travel experiences for our passengers,” says Lars Jacob Engelsen, Deputy CEO of Norled.

The start of the contract will be 1.1.2021. It runs for 8 years and has an additional 1-year option. The future service will have an adjusted route structure compared to the current service.

The waiting period for award is set to 10 days. The contract will be signed after its expiration.
