We experience that the COVID-19 / Corona virus is spreading in Norway and we want to give you some travel tips to ensure good infection control on board our vessels.

Your unique efforts make a difference!

We have created 6 rules of conduct for those who travel with us at Norled. This is to prevent you from becoming infected yourself or infecting others:

  1. Quarantine:

If you are quarantined – stay at home! Going to the cabin may seem tempting, but by going out of the house and using public transport, you risk the lives and health of other people. Be a hero – stay at home!

  1. Hand hygiene

A good old-fashioned hand wash with soap is the very best. Wash your hands with good soapy water for as long as it takes to sing “Happy Birthday” (20 seconds). Remember to wash both thumbs!

As a traveler, you’ll also find disinfectant dispensers readily available in the lounge, at the kiosk and in the toilet. Use them diligently!

  1. Host in style

If you feel the urge to cough – cough into the crook of your arm or into a paper towel. Dispose of the paper towel immediately and then perform hand washing or disinfection of hands.

  1. Keep your distance

Contribute to a healthy community by keeping your distance from other passengers. Keep a good distance on board and when disembarking and boarding.

5. Seek knowledge

Keep an eye on the Norwegian Institute of Public Health’s (NIPH) website www.fhi.no for continuous updates on the situation.

6. Wear a face mask

Please wear a face mask when boarding and disembarking, shopping in kiosks, when staying in passenger areas and in the toilet.

Please note that face masks do not replace the need to maintain distance according to national recommendations.

We wish you as a passenger a healthy and safe journey!
