Rates for vehicles with trailers are based on the actual length of the vehicle pulling the trailer. The actual length is the vehicle incl. protruding load, e.g. bicycle rack etc.
If the vehicle (incl. load) itself is over 6m, payment is made according to the length tariff, based on the total length of the vehicle + trailer.
Where the vehicle (incl. load) itself is less than 6m, and weighs less than 3501 kg, other tariffs must be used:
- When the vehicle + trailer is less than 6m, the normal single rate (B2) is payable.
- When the vehicle+trailer is over 6m, a double rate is payable (2x B2)
- When the vehicle+trailer is over 10m, triple the rate is paid (3x B2)
