1. Be pleasant and show respect for crew and fellow passengers.
2. Always follow signals and instructions from the crew, this is important for your own safety and for the logistics on board.
3. Be careful on tires, which can be slippery, especially in ice and rain.
4. Hold on to the handrail on stairs to avoid falling injuries.
5. Be a responsible driver. Cell phone use behind the wheel and children on your lap is illegal and makes you inattentive.
6. Turn off the engine and set the handbrake/park mode during the crossing.
7. Turn off all exterior lights on the car, the light can dazzle the driver on the bridge.
8. Turn off the car alarm, the alarm can damage the hearing of crew and passengers in addition to scaring children and animals.
9. Take care of children and animals during the entire crossing. Small children should not be left alone on deck and pets should be kept on a leash.
