The requirements and size of the salary discount are determined by the authorities.
Ferry
discount
- Honorary travelers pay the child rate. I.e. 50% of the ordinary price for an adult ticket, rounded up to the nearest whole krone.
- There are no discounts on zone cards, monthly cards or bulk user cards.
Who can get a courtesy ticket
a) persons over the age of 67
b) disabled persons who receive a disability pension under the National Insurance Act
c) blind persons
d) deaf-blind persons
e) a spouse traveling together with a person who is entitled to a season ticket under the above points. Registered partners in accordance with the Partnership Act are entitled to a discount on the same terms as spouses. f) Persons traveling in the company of a person who presents an identification card, where the municipality has confirmed that the person in question needs one or more companions, travel free of charge. This applies both when traveling without a car and as passengers in an ordinary car.
If the attendant is the driver of the vehicle, the attendant is included in the price of the vehicle for which the ordinary tariff is to be calculated.
Credentials
Anyone claiming a season ticket must identify themselves with a valid identity card. A valid identity card for persons over 67 years of age includes a passport, driver’s license, bank card and Posten’s identity card.
Entitlement to a salary discount for disability pensioners is linked to their position under the National Insurance Act, and an ID card from the NAV office must be presented.
Companions of deafblind persons who are entitled to an honored ticket travel free of charge upon presentation of identification issued by the National Central Team for the Deafblind.
Place of residence and nationality
There are no residency or nationality requirements.
