On this tour you travel by bus from Bergen Bus Station at 07:25 to Norheimsund, and then by boat to the beautiful village of Kinsarvik.
In Kinsarvik, you have just over 6 hours at your disposal before the boat returns to Norheimsund.
We recommend heading up to Husedalen, one of the most spectacular hikes in Hardanger. Here there are 4 waterfalls close together and they are a beautiful sight. This is a great hike for all age groups. Some sections can be steep and slippery, but you can choose which way and how far you want to go.
Follow the road past the go-kart track. Eventually you can follow a nice gravel path up to the second waterfall, or walk the nature trail closer to the water. There are many nice places to stop along the way, and the views are fantastic. If you walk at a moderate to fast pace, you’ll be able to walk to the top waterfall and back in time to catch the boat – but the hike is fantastic either way.

Sights
In Kinsarvik you also have Mikkelparken, a play and activity park for the youngest children. There are other hiking opportunities, cafés and also swimming opportunities if the weather permits.

Round trip. The route functions as public transport, but is mainly used by tourists.
Departure points
Daily bus departures start from Bergen bus station, platform 0, at 07:25. Shuttle bus no. 925. The boat departs from Norheimsund at 09:00, and goes via Herand, Utne, Lofthus and to Kinsarvik. Ticket sales
Tickets can be purchased online, on board or at the Tourist Information in Bergen.
Student
To be able to buy a student ticket, you must be under 30 years of age and have a valid student certificate and semester card for the current school year.
Honour
To be able to buy an honour ticket, you must be 67 years of age or older, or travel together with a spouse/cohabitant who is 67 years of age or older.
