The trip starts with bus from Bergen busstation at 07:25 to Norheimsund.
There you continue with the boat at 09: from from Norheimsund quay and takes you deep into the fjord, to the village of Kinsarvik. Here you will have approx 6,5 hours to spend before you return.
Our recomandation is to hike up to Husedalen , one of the most famous and spectacular hikes in Hardanger. Fours stunning waterfalls are close to each other on this hiking trail from Kinsarvik up to the Hardangervidda mountain platoue. The trails are suitable for all ages, but some parts of the might be more steep the others- but you also have a graval road that is steep , but easier to access. This takes you almost to the third waterfall.
Depeding on how fast you walk, it is possible to reach the fourth waterfall and get back in time to the boat departs. No matter how far you go, there will be some incredible sights and views to enjoy.
There is also other things to do in Kinarvik, like Mikkelparken- an amusement park for younger kids, Go Kart, cafeterias, camping etc.
This trip is with an expressboat and bus for passengers only- no vehicles is allowed on board.

Roundtrip This route is public transport but is mostly used by tourists as part of Hardangerfjord cruise travels.
Departure points
The bus starts at Bergen Busstation, platform 0, at 07:25. The boat starts in Norheisund at 09:00, with stops in Herand, Utne, Lofthus to Kinsarvik. Return from Kinsarvik at 16:35 with arrival Norheimsund at 18:10. Bus from Norheimsund at 18:59. Price examples are returfares Bergen-Norheimsund-Kinsarvik.
Bus Bergen
The buss departs from Bergen Busstation, Platform O at 07:25. SKYSS bus nb. 925. OBS! public transportation, be at the platform latest 5 minutes before departure. Departure from Norheimsund in the evening at 18:59 (buss nb 930).
Tickets can be bought online, on board or at the Tourist Office in Bergen.
Student
In order to purchase a student ticket, you must be younger then 30 years old. You also need to have a valid student card and valid semester card for this semester.
Senior
In order to purchase a senior ticket, you must be 67 years or older- or travelling togheter with your spouce that is 67 years or older.
